Mental Illness Anxiety Affects Allot

Acute stress affects the mind and overall general performance of an individual. Anxiety is caused due to stress and when left untreated anxiety might lead to many mental illnesses.

  • talking to oneself or moving here and there without any reason
  • sudden burst of laughter or tears
  • extreme mood swings or paranormal behavior
  • excessive energy levels and not easily tiring
  • hot flashes, trembling, nervous breakdown

These are some of the symptoms related to mental illness cause due to anxiety. When you identify such symptoms in you or in others immediately contact the family doctor or medical practitioner.

The person with this problem should first feel free or comfortable to talk about it to the health care professionals. Only then can the doctor help him overcome such harmful ailments of the mind. First the patient should stop feeling guilty or bad about his condition, as this ailment might be the reason of some chemical or hormonal changes in the physical body.

Other than the proper treatment by the doctor, joining self-help groups will help the person affected to regain his self-confidence and self esteem.

When seeing other people with similar or more serious problem there is good reason to change over to a new leaf. Family members and friends too should understand and help the patient to come out of this quickly.

· Aerobics especially is recommended as stress buster or anxiety relieve by many physicians today.

Whatever the treatment try to maintain and follow the doctors advice and always carry a positive approach to life.

Try to accept life as it is with all imperfections and imbalances. Involve in some social or charitable purposes to keep mind engaged. Most of advocate a positive attitude into everything you say and do and see the difference the life can bring as you look the world right in the eye.
