The Causes of Anxiety

These days’ people hardly get any time to rest and take care of their health. People are busy with the work and are always tied up with some problem or the other. Out of the twenty four hours a day contains twelve to fourteen hours are spent working and travelling for work. The remaining hours are spent getting ready for work and sleeping, and eating off course. Thus you can easily figure out the ratio of the time spent for earning income and the time spent for taking care of the health. This busy work schedule is creating a lot of problems. People are getting the disease that earlier people used to face at the old age, at very young age of thirty to forty. Thus by not taking care of health one is prone to getting diseases at very young age. On top of that the bad habit of smoking and drinking has added fire to fuel.

It is interesting to see that the problems of anxiety, the problems related to stress and the problems such as depression have the common root cause. This root cause is lack of sleep and the improper intake of food. Due to the busy work schedule people also don’t get time to do the exercises.

All these causes combined together push a person into stress and depression. Anxiety can be seen as the other face of depression. This problem is a mind related problem. When a person gets mentally tired and this tiredness of mind is frequently met the outcome is anxiety. Anxiety is fatal as it affects the physical as well as the mental well being of a person. The anxiety should hence be avoided by taking regular rest during work and by eating the right kind of meal.

The main causes of anxiety are thus lack of proper rest and the lack of prier nutrition. Anxiety is the state of the human mind and body wherein the Anxiety Causemind experiences emotional feelings of fear and worry and the body is usually under stress accompanied by headache, shortness of breath . Some biologists define anxiety as a mechanism of the human brain to react to the situation of stress. Anxiety helps one deal with the tensions of daily life at office, school, and college. Every person experiences anxiety because of some reason or the other. The level of stress and hence the level of anxiety experienced by different people is different depending on the individual. Anxiety helps one cope with daily life stress .The feeling or the state of anxiety can be helpful also.

Problems Related to Anxiety

Anxiety cause a person’s thought process to slow down. The main cause of anxiety is stress and depression. Long working hours in the office combined with lack of rest can lead to problems such as Anxiety, Stress and depression. All the three problems are inter- related and can create a lot of problems. The Stressed person is not able to concentrate on any work he takes up. Also it makes a person lethargic and paralysed, in terms of thinking.

Stress and anxiety are two sides of the same coin, and can be troublesome if not treated well on time. Bad drinking habits can also lead to depression and anxiety. Most doctors say that alcohol taken in small amounts acts as stimulant but the over dose of it can lead to depression and anxiety, as it acts as a depressant. Thus one should be very particular about the drinking habits and should not be done in excess. There are a number of other causes related to anxiety. If a person over does work and if the sleep is not proper it can lead to anxiety.

Anxiety can create mess as it affects the social life of a person too. A person suffering from anxiety is generally not able to move along in a group. Also due to the slow thought process they are not able to converse with others. Such a problem can ruin the social life of a person.

The only way to treat this problem is to take proper rest. Also eating the right kind of food can be a solution to this problem. Taking proper rest and eating the right kind of food alone can solve fifty percent of the problem. The rest can be cured by doing regular exercise. As goes a popular saying, “Healthy body leads to healthy mind”. Hence by taking proper care of the body one can treat the mental illness such as anxiety.

If the problems caused by anxiety are not under control then one should take professional advice. A doctor can always provide more help than any tip from any other person. Anxiety should be treated in time, the earlier you start the treatment the earlier you recover.

One can try the breathing exercises to improve the physical side. The breathing exercises can be really useful in treating the problems related to anxiety.

To treat a problem one should know that the problem exists. Hence one can check for the symptoms of anxiety. There are many indications that provide a clue to anxiety. A person suffering from anxiety is prone to get irritated easily. If a person gets irritated easily it is an indication that the person is suffering from anxiety. In fact a recent change in the behaviour of a person can assure that the person has anxiety problem. Another indication of anxiety is the change in the eating habits of a person. Generally a person suffering from anxiety and the other stress related problem exhibits a change in the eating habits.

Anxiety helps one deal with the tensions of daily life at office, school, and college. Every person experiences anxiety because of some reason or the other. Every individual when put under stress becomes anxious and when two people are given the same task under similar stress conditions they experience a different level of anxiety. The level of stress and hence the level of anxiety experienced by different people is different depending on the individual.
