The only real solution for a phobia is behavioral therapy but it doesn't hurt to walk around the block every other day. Certain issues involved with depression have been shown to be solved with exercise and can help keep your body in shape. The treatment for depression and anxiety don't necessarily go together. Occasionally both can be treated at the same time with the same medications and therapy even though anxiety and depression can be completely different problems. It can take awhile to find the right combination of treatments for your unique situation, but in the end you and your doctor can find the right solution for your unique combination of symptoms.
