Pindolol
Pindolol augmentation (2.5 mg of pindolol, three times daily) with SSRIs is the second augmenting agent which has been found in double-blind studies to be effective and thus might be placed quite high on the list of augmenting agents. However, it appears to give an extra ‘‘push’’ to partial responders rather than actually turning non-responders into responders.
